Returns and Refunds/Exchanges Policy

Overview

We want you to be happy with your purchase, and hope that you are. But if you are not happy with the rocks you get, for whatever reason, we offer this Returns and Refunds/Exchanges Policy in the hope that you will be satisfied in the end.

Except for receiving damaged rocks (see the next section below), if you are unhappy with your purchase, please let us know within 14 days of receiving the package.  Please let us know by completing our Contact Form with the details. We will work with you to come to a satisfactory resolution. If your rocks arrived damaged, please see the next section below. 

Damaged Rocks

We make every effort to package your rocks so they will travel to you safely and arrive intact and unbroken. If your rocks arrive broken or damaged we will refund your money or provide a suitable replacement. You must, however, inform us about the damaged rocks immediately, within one business day after you receive them. Use our Contact Form to notify us. We will then ask you to promptly return the damaged specimens to us. We will pay for the return shipping. Upon our receipt of the returned damaged specimens, we will promptly issue you a refund or ship out the replacement.

Returns

If you want to return your rock(s) for a refund or exchange, you will be responsible for properly packaging them, and the cost of return shipping. 

Properly packaging the rocks means using adequate wrapping (bubble wrap, etc.) and packaging material (a sturdy box, packing paper, packing peanuts, etc.) to effectively reduce the risk of damage during shipping. 

Return shipping must be with a carrier that provides a tracking number and online tracking information.  We will ask you to provide us the tracking information (tracking number and identity of the carrier) on all returns.  

We will provide you with return shipping information after you complete our Contact Form to inform us of the return.

Refunds or Exchanges

We will notify you when we receive the returned specimen(s) and will promptly issue you a refund. We strive to issue all refunds as soon as possible, but it may take up to three business days. 

If you prefer to receive store credit, or exchange the specimen(s) for something different, please use our Contact Form to let us know.

Under limited circumstances, and at our sole discretion, we may reimburse you for some, or all of the return shipping.  Alternatively, if you prefer store credit or exchange, we might offer you a discount on the exchange or on future purchases and/or shipping costs.
